Mr. Lane’s experience includes a 28-year track record of procuring and divesting oil and gas leases, mineral and royalty interests, and production in the lower 48 states through his partnerships and joint ventures.  Jason has raised over $2B of investor capital and commitments. He has had commitments and investments from TPG, Alliance Bernstein, Goldman Sachs, International German Hedge Funds, and multiple domestic private family offices. His most recent transactions included lease divestitures of 46,500 acres to Mitsui E&P USA (2024) and an ongoing process to divest an additional 55,000 acres (2025) in the Bald Prairie Field targeting Bossier/Haynesville formations.  Mr. Lane previously completed transactions with Halcon Resources and Terrace Energy LLC (Woodbine), Bill Barrett Corp (Rockies), and multiple prospects across the East Texas basin with Chesapeake Energy. Mr. Lane has sold multiple royalty packages in the mineral royalty space to private equity-backed companies, including NGP portfolio companies and Noble Royalties. He has also partnered with numerous sizeable independent oil and gas companies in both operator and non-operator roles.  Mr. Lane has been the lead partner since 2002 leasing over 950,000 prime acres for his partnerships.
